Description

The Arista QDD-400G-PLR4-S is a 400G QSFP-DD PLR4 transceiver that delivers 4x100GBASE-LR over parallel single-mode fibre for up to 10km. This -S variant uses SN optical connectors, making it suited to high-density 400G to 4x100G breakout deployments in data centre and campus aggregation networks.

The module operates at 1310nm and is optically interoperable with 4x100GBASE-LR optics, so a single 400G port can connect to four 100G endpoints. It is hot-swappable and conforms to the QSFP-DD MSA, IEEE 802.3 and 100G Lambda MSA standards. The sibling QDD-400G-PLR4 uses an MPO-12 APC connector instead.
