Description

The Arista QDD-400G-PLR4 is a 400G QSFP-DD optical transceiver (400GBASE-PLR4) built for high-density data centre and spine-leaf links. It delivers 4 x 100G lanes over parallel single-mode fibre using an MPO-12 APC connector, with a reach of up to 10km at 1310 nm. It is optically interoperable with 4 x 100GBASE-LR, so a single 400G port can break out to four 100G LR links.

This QSFP-DD module is hot swappable, complies with the QSFP-DD MSA and 100G Lambda MSA, and suits 400G ports on Arista switching platforms. It is ideal for campus-scale and inter-building 400G connections, and for 400G to 4x100G breakout designs that need 10km parallel SMF reach.
