Description

The Arista QDD-200G-2LR43 is a 200G QSFP-DD transceiver that carries two 100GBASE-LR4 links in a single module, each running over its own duplex single-mode fibre pair for up to 10km. It uses 2x CS optical connectors, a compact interface that delivers two duplex fibre pairs from one QSFP-DD port. This makes it a good fit for data centre and campus links where a QSFP-DD port needs to break out to two 100G long-reach connections.

The module is optically interoperable with QSFP-100G-LR4 optics, so it can connect to existing 100GBASE-LR4 infrastructure at the far end. The QSFP-DD port must be configured as 2x 100G for this transceiver. It is the CS connector version, while the OSFP-200G-2LR43 sibling uses 2x LC connectors.
