Description

The Arista OSFP-8X25-MR-LR is a 200G OSFP transceiver that delivers eight 25GBASE-LR / 10GBASE-LR lanes through a single MPO-16 APC connector. It reaches up to 2km over parallel single-mode fibre, making it well suited to data centre breakout links between OSFP ports and 25G or 10G single-mode optics.

Dual-rate operation lets the same module run as 8x 25G or 8x 10G lanes, so it supports staged migrations and mixed-speed designs. This OSFP form factor version is hot swappable and complies with the OSFP MSA and IEEE 802.3 Ethernet standards. The sibling QDD-8X25-MR-LR provides the same optics in a QSFP-DD form factor.
