Description

The Arista OSFP-800G-2VSR4 is an 800G OSFP transceiver that carries two 400GBASE-VSR4 channels in a single module, with dual MPO-12 APC connectors and a reach of up to 50m over OM4 multi-mode fibre. It suits high-density data centre links where short-reach parallel multi-mode fibre is already deployed, and operates at 850nm.

The module is hot swappable, supports 30m over OM3 and 50m over OM4, and interoperates with 400GBASE-VSR4 optics for 2x 400G breakout-style connectivity. It complies with IEEE 802.3 and the OSFP MSA, and is part of Arista's 800G OSFP optics range.
