Description

The Arista OSFP-800G-2FR4 is an 800G OSFP optical transceiver that carries two 400GBASE-FR4 links in a single module. It connects over duplex single-mode fibre (G.652) using two LC connectors and reaches up to 2 km, making it well suited to high-density data centre spine and leaf links that need to break one 800G port out into two 400G-FR4 connections.

The module operates on the 1271, 1291, 1311 and 1331 nm wavelengths and draws a maximum of 16 W. It uses the OSFP form factor and is supported on selected Arista platforms, so confirm compatibility against the Arista Transceiver and Cable Guide before deployment.
