The Arista OSFP-400G-XDR4 is a 400G OSFP optical transceiver (400GBASE-XDR4) with an MPO-12 APC connector, delivering up to 2km over parallel single-mode fibre at 1310nm. It is built for high-density 400G data centre deployments and supports breakout to 4x 100G links, with optical interoperability with 4x 100GBASE-FR.

This hot-swappable module complies with the OSFP MSA and IEEE 802.3 Ethernet standards, helping teams maximise uptime and simplify serviceability in leaf and spine fabrics. It carries Laser Class 1 safety, CE, UKCA, Australia RCM and KCC certifications and is RoHS compliant. The standard MPO-12 APC connector version suits parallel fibre cabling, whereas the -S sibling uses SN connectors.
