Description

The Arista OSFP-400G-SRBD1 is a 400GBASE-BIDI (400GBASE-SR4.2) OSFP transceiver designed for high-density 400G data centre deployments over parallel multimode fibre. Using an MPO-12 UPC connector, it delivers 400G connectivity up to 70m over OM3 MMF and 100m over OM4 MMF, making it ideal for spine-to-leaf and intra-rack interconnects where existing parallel MMF infrastructure is already deployed. BiDi technology maximises fibre utilisation, while software configurability allows the module to operate as a native 400GE link or break out into 4x 100GBASE-BIDI or 4x 100GBASE-SR1.2 connections for flexible migration strategies.
