Description

The Arista OSFP-400G-SRBD1 is a 400G OSFP bidirectional multimode transceiver for short-reach data centre links. It uses an MPO-12 UPC connector with 855nm and 908nm BiDi wavelengths, reaching 70m over OM3 or 100m over OM4 parallel multimode fibre. It is software configurable for point-to-point 400GBASE-SR4.2, or breakout to 4x 100GBASE-BIDI or 4x 100GBASE-SR1.2.

This OSFP module supports flexible migration from 100G BIDI and SR1.2 links to 400G over existing multimode fibre plant. It is hot swappable, compliant with the OSFP MSA and IEEE 802.3 Ethernet, and suited to leaf, spine and aggregation deployments that use OSFP-equipped Arista platforms.
