Description

The EDS-4009 Layer 2 managed industrial Ethernet switch combines 6 x 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 ports with 3 x 100BaseFX multi-mode SC fibre ports, giving a direct fibre run to nearby cabinets, substations and field equipment. This high-voltage variant takes a single 110/220 VAC/VDC power input through the pre-installed PWR-105-HV-I module and operates across a wide -40 to 75°C temperature range.

Built in an IP40 metal housing for DIN-rail mounting, it supports EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP and PROFINET IO Device protocols, network redundancy with Turbo Ring v2, Turbo Chain, MRP, RSTP and MSTP, and hardware-based IEEE 1588v2 PTP. IEC 62443-4-2 Security Level 2 cybersecurity and rail, traffic control and power substation certifications make it suited to demanding industrial automation and utility networks.
