Description

The Moxa EDS-505A-MM-SC is a 5-port Layer 2 managed industrial Ethernet switch with 3 x 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 ports and 2 x 100BaseFX multi-mode ports with SC connectors. Built for harsh industrial environments, it supports Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain redundancy with recovery times under 20 ms, making it well suited to factory automation, utilities and transport networks that need resilient fibre uplinks.

This standard temperature variant operates from -10 to 60°C and runs from redundant dual 9.6 to 60 VDC power inputs. The metal IP30 housing mounts on a DIN rail, and the switch supports EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP and PROFINET alongside IEEE 802.1X, HTTPS, SNMPv3 and SSH security for secure remote management.
