Description

The Moxa EDS-408A is an entry-level Layer 2 managed industrial Ethernet switch with 8 x 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 ports and no fibre ports. Built for factory automation, transport and utility networks, it combines Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain redundancy with VLAN, QoS and IGMP snooping, and this standard model operates across -10 to 60°C.

Redundant dual 12/24/48 VDC power inputs, an IP30 metal housing and DIN-rail mounting suit control cabinet installations. Management is available through a web browser, CLI, Telnet and serial console, SNMPv1/v2c/v3 and the MXstudio industrial network management suite, with EtherNet/IP and Modbus TCP support for device monitoring.
