FAQs

Q: What frequency bands does the Opengear 569028 antenna support?
A: The 569028 supports seven bands: 700 MHz, 850 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 1900 MHz, 2100 MHz, and 2600 MHz, covering the primary 4G LTE and 3G frequencies used by Australian carriers including Telstra, Optus, and TPG/Vodafone.

Q: Which Opengear devices is this antenna compatible with?
A: The 569028 is designed for use with Opengear LMX series devices. It connects via the standard SMA male swivel connector found on Opengear's cellular-enabled out-of-band management hardware.

Q: What is the antenna gain and what does it mean for my deployment?
A: The antenna offers 0–3 dBi of isotropic gain. For a compact 5-inch blade form factor, this provides adequate signal amplification for rack-mounted or desktop out-of-band management deployments where cellular signal strength is moderate to good.

Q: Why would I need a swivel blade antenna for out-of-band management?
A: Swivel antennas allow you to adjust the orientation of the antenna after installation to optimise signal reception. In data centre racks or enclosed equipment cabinets, the ability to reposition the blade can significantly improve 4G LTE signal quality without moving the device itself.

Q: Can I purchase the Opengear 569028 antenna in Australia?
A: Yes. The Opengear 569028 is available through iptrading.com.au, an Australian B2B IT hardware reseller specialising in enterprise networking equipment including Opengear out-of-band management solutions and accessories.

Q: What is the warranty on the Opengear 569028 antenna?
A: The Opengear 569028 antenna carries a 1-year manufacturer warranty, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use conditions.
