Description

The Panorama Omnidirectional 4x4 MIMO 4G/5G Antenna is a multi-band cellular antenna designed for reliable LTE and Sub-6 GHz 5G connectivity across IoT, M2M, industrial control, and fixed-site deployments. Supporting wideband frequencies from 617 MHz to 6000 MHz, the 4x4 MIMO configuration maximises throughput and signal reliability without requiring directional alignment. The strong magnetic mount base secures quickly to vehicle rooftops, cabinets, or any ferrous surface, making it equally suited to mobile and semi-permanent installations.

With SMA Male connectors and a rugged white radome built to withstand outdoor conditions and extreme temperatures, this antenna integrates seamlessly with Opengear console servers, routers, and out-of-band management appliances that use cellular as a primary or failover WAN path. It is future-proofed across all current global cellular bands for long-term deployment confidence.

Features

- 4x4 MIMO omnidirectional design covers all LTE and Sub-6 5G bands without directional alignment
- Integrated GPS/GNSS module with 26 dB LNA gain for precise positioning and timing applications
- Magnetic mount base for tool-free installation on vehicles, cabinets, and metal enclosures
- Wideband 617–6000 MHz coverage future-proofs deployments across current and emerging cellular bands
- 5-in-1 multi-antenna: four cellular paths plus one GPS/GNSS feed in a single compact housing
- Rugged white radome rated for outdoor and industrial environments including extreme temperatures
- SMA Male connectors for compatibility with a wide range of routers, modems, and cellular gateways
- Suitable for IoT, M2M, kiosks, vending machines, OOB management, and industrial control applications

FAQs

Q: What cellular standards does this antenna support?
A: It supports all major LTE and Sub-6 GHz 5G frequency bands from 617 MHz to 6000 MHz, covering global networks including Australian carriers (Telstra, Optus, TPG). It also includes integrated GPS/GNSS reception at 1562–1612 MHz.

Q: What does 4x4 MIMO mean and why does it matter?
A: 4x4 MIMO (Multiple Input, Multiple Output) uses four simultaneous antenna paths to increase throughput, reduce latency, and improve signal resilience. It is required to achieve peak LTE-A and 5G data rates on compatible routers and modems.

Q: Is this antenna compatible with Opengear out-of-band management devices?
A: Yes. It is designed to work with Opengear appliances fitted with LTE/5G cellular modules, providing an external high-gain antenna solution for primary or failover cellular WAN connectivity in data centre and industrial environments.

Q: How does the magnetic mount work and where can it be installed?
A: The magnetic base adheres firmly to any flat ferrous metal surface such as a vehicle roof, server cabinet top, or plant enclosure lid. No drilling is required, making it suitable for both permanent and temporary deployments.

Q: Is there a black radome version available?
A: Yes. The Panorama MAKO antenna is available in both white radome (this SKU) and black radome variants. If you require the black version, contact the IP Trading team at iptrading.com.au for availability.

Q: Can I purchase this antenna in Australia with local support?
A: Yes. IP Trading (iptrading.com.au) is an Australian B2B IT hardware reseller supplying Opengear and networking accessories with expert pre-sales support. Visit the site or contact the team to place your order.
