Description

The Moxa WAC-M300 is a rail train-to-ground wireless access controller built for TAP-M310R access points. It delivers Layer 2 controller-based Turbo Roaming with a 50 ms handover time and acts as a 2-in-1 AP controller and mobile IP home agent. This 0 to 50°C rack-mount model supports up to 190 clients roaming between 400 APs on Layer 2 networks.

The controller provides 1-on-1 hot backup failover for device-level redundancy, inter-controller roaming, and IEEE 802.11i wireless security. It fits a standard 19-inch rack in a metal housing, with a web interface and API support for system integration.
