Description

The Moxa WAC-2004A is a rackmount industrial wireless access controller that combines an AP controller with a mobile IP home agent. It delivers controller-based Turbo Roaming across Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks with a 50 ms handover time, and supports 1-on-1 hot-standby redundancy for continuous operation. This variant ships with an EU power cord and is rated for 0 to 50°C operation.

Built in a metal housing with 19-inch rack mounting, the WAC-2004A offers dual power inputs on a 100 to 240 VAC supply. Security covers IEEE 802.11i, IEEE 802.1X, RADIUS, HTTPS/SSL and SSH, while management is available through a web console, SNMPv1/v2c/v3, Telnet, TFTP and Syslog.
