Description

The Moxa WAC-1001-T is an industrial wireless access controller built for rail, transport and other harsh-environment WLAN deployments. This wide-temperature model is rated for -40 to 75°C in an IP30 metal housing, and manages Moxa AWK-RTG and TAP series access points with controller-based Turbo Roaming and handover under 50 ms.

The controller supports up to 110 radios and offers 1-on-1 hot backup for controller failover, so wireless coverage stays available if a unit drops out. Redundant dual 12 to 48 VDC power inputs, PoE input and a relay alarm output suit control cabinets and trackside enclosures, while DIN-rail mounting keeps installation simple. RADIUS, 802.1X, HTTPS/SSL and SSH protect management and client access.
