Description

The WAC-1001 industrial wireless access controller delivers seamless Turbo Roaming for Moxa AWK-RTG and TAP series access points, with handover times under 50 ms and support for up to 110 WLAN radios. This is the standard temperature model, suited to controlled industrial enclosures and cabinets, and is distinct from the wide-temperature WAC-1001-T variant.

Built for continuous operation, it offers 1-on-1 hot backup controller failover and redundant dual 12 to 48 VDC power inputs. Security and management are covered with IEEE 802.1X/RADIUS, HTTPS, SSH and SNMPv1/v2c/v3, while DIN-rail or optional wall mounting and an integrated relay alarm output simplify on-site installation and monitoring.
