Description

The Moxa TN-4916-12PoE-4GTX-WV-CT-T is an EN 50155 railway-grade industrial secure router from the TN-4900 series, built for onboard rolling stock networks. It provides 12 Fast Ethernet PoE+ ports on M12 D-coded connectors and 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports on M12 X-coded connectors, with a 95 W total PoE budget for powering cameras, access points and other onboard devices. Redundant 24 to 110 VDC power inputs, PCB conformal coating and an operating range of -40 to 70°C suit harsh train environments.

Layer 3 routing with RIP, OSPF, static routes and VRRP is combined with a stateful firewall, IPsec VPN with up to 250 tunnels, Secure Boot and IEC 62443-4-2 Security Level 2 cybersecurity. Turbo Ring v2, RSTP and STP provide network redundancy, and the IP40 metal housing is wall mounted. TRDP railway protocol support makes it a good fit for onboard train communication systems.
