Description

The TAP-213-US-CT-T is an IP68-rated rail wireless access point and client for railway onboard and train-to-ground links. It uses a single 802.11a/b/g/n radio with data rates up to 300 Mbps (HT40), and this US band model covers 2.412-2.462 GHz and 5.180-5.320 GHz with DFS. M12 connectors, conformal coating and a -40 to 75°C operating range suit harsh trackside and onboard deployments.

The unit supports Access Point, Client, Client-Router and Sniffer modes, with Turbo Roaming for fast handover between trackside access points. It runs from redundant 24 to 110 VDC inputs or PoE, includes a 1000BaseSFP slot alongside the M12 X-coded Gigabit Ethernet port, and complies with all EN 50155 mandatory test items for rolling stock.
