Description

The Moxa TAP-213-JP-CT-T is a TAP-213 series railway onboard Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) wireless access point and client for train-to-ground communication. This variant is configured for the JP (Japan) frequency band, includes PCB conformal coating and is rated for operation from -40 to 75°C. Dual-band 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz operation delivers up to 300 Mbps (HT40), housed in an IP68 metal enclosure with M12 connectors for vibration-resistant, sealed connections.

The unit offers one M12 X-coded 10/100/1000BaseT(X) port plus a 1000BaseSFP slot, and accepts redundant 24 to 110 VDC inputs or PoE (IEEE 802.3at). It carries EN 50155 and EN 50121-4 railway approvals along with EN 45545-2 fire protection, and supports wall mounting, with optional pole and DIN-rail mounting kits.
