Description

The Moxa EDR-G9004-VPN-2MGTXSFP is an industrial secure router that combines firewall, NAT and VPN in a single rugged metal unit. It provides 2 Gigabit copper ports with Gen3 LAN Bypass and 2 Gigabit copper/SFP combo ports, and runs from a 12/24/48 VDC supply across a standard -10 to 60°C operating range. IDS/IPS threat detection from the EDR-G9004 series adds industrial next-generation firewall protection at the network edge.

This model suits control networks, remote sites and cell-to-enterprise boundaries where the router must segment and protect industrial assets. Redundant dual power inputs, DIN-rail and wall mounting, and a console port (RS-232, 3-pin / USB Type-C) make it practical to deploy and service in cabinets and substations.
