Description

The EDR-810-2GSFP-T is an EDR-810 industrial secure router that combines a stateful firewall, NAT, routing and managed Layer 2 switching in one DIN-rail unit. It provides 8 Fast Ethernet RJ45 ports and 2 Gigabit SFP slots, and this Firewall/NAT model without VPN is the wide temperature variant rated for -40 to 75°C operation.

Built for factory automation, utilities, transport and marine networks, it offers deep packet inspection for Modbus TCP and Modbus UDP, RSTP and Turbo Ring v2 redundancy, and VRRP routing redundancy. A metal housing, 12 to 48 VDC redundant power input and certifications including ATEX, Class I Division 2, DNV and EN 50121-4 suit demanding installations. SFP modules are sold separately.

Q: Does the EDR-810-2GSFP-T support VPN?
A: No. This model is the Firewall/NAT variant without VPN. It includes a stateful firewall, NAT and routing, along with HTTPS/SSL, SSH, L2TP (server) and RADIUS for secure management and access.

Q: What operating temperature range does it support?
A: The -T suffix denotes the wide temperature model, rated for -40 to 75°C (-40 to 167°F) operation, with storage rated from -40 to 85°C.

Q: Are SFP modules included?
A: No. The two 100/1000BaseSFP slots ship with dust caps and SFP modules must be purchased separately to suit your fibre or copper link requirements.

Q: What power input does it use?
A: It accepts 12 to 48 VDC through a removable terminal block with reverse polarity protection. Input current is 0.706 A at 12 VDC, 0.353 A at 24 VDC and 0.187 A at 48 VDC.

Q: Can it inspect industrial protocol traffic?
A: Yes. PacketGuard technology provides deep packet inspection for Modbus TCP and Modbus UDP, letting you filter industrial traffic at the protocol level.

Q: How is it mounted?
