Description

The EDR-8010-2GSFP is an industrial secure router that combines a stateful firewall, NAT, routing and Layer 2 switching in one DIN-rail unit. It provides 8 Fast Ethernet copper ports and 2 Gigabit SFP slots for fibre or copper uplinks, with firewall and NAT functions (no VPN on this model) and Deep Packet Inspection for industrial protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850 MMS, EtherNet/IP and OPC UA. It is suited to protecting control networks at cell, zone and substation boundaries.

Built for demanding sites, it runs from 12/24/48 VDC redundant dual power inputs with reverse polarity protection, in a compact IP40 metal housing rated for -10 to 60°C. Redundancy options include VRRP, Turbo Ring v2 and Turbo Chain, and the unit holds maritime, rail, power substation and hazardous-location certifications. Optional IPS is available with an additional licence.
