Description

The Moxa AWK-3131A-M12-RTG-EU-CT-T is a Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) railway onboard train-to-ground access point and client for rolling stock networks. It features M12 connectors, EU frequency band operation, an IP30 metal housing, conformal coating and an operating temperature range of -40 to 75°C. Single-radio 802.11a/b/g/n operation delivers data rates up to 300 Mbps in AP or client mode.

Built to meet EN 50155 requirements for railway applications, this indoor access point supports controller-based Turbo Roaming with handover times under 50 ms for reliable connectivity at speed. It offers redundant dual 12-48 VDC power inputs or 48 VDC PoE, plus WPA/WPA2-Enterprise and Personal security, QoS (WMM) and VLAN support for managing onboard network traffic.
