Description

The Juniper QFX5230-64CD spare chassis is a high-radix 2U 400GbE data centre switch with 64 QSFP56-DD ports, built for spine, leaf and AI data centre fabrics. This SKU supplies the chassis only, without power supplies or fan modules, making it suited to chassis replacement and spares holdings.

Built around a Broadcom Tomahawk4 switch chip and running Junos OS Evolved, the QFX5230-64CD delivers up to 25.6 Tbps of throughput with 600 ns cut-through latency. Ports support breakout to 200GbE, 100GbE, 25GbE or 10GbE, and a wide range of QSFP56-DD transceivers is supported. Power supplies and fan modules for the populated system are ordered separately.
