Description

The EX4650-48Y-AFO is a 1U Layer 2/Layer 3 25GbE data centre switch from the Juniper EX4650 range, with 48 SFP28 ports and 8 QSFP28 100GbE uplinks. It suits top-of-rack, campus aggregation and service-provider deployments, and runs Junos OS. This variant has AC power supplies and AFO airflow (port side intake, PSU side exhaust), so it fits racks where cold air is drawn in from the port side.

Each SFP28 port runs at 25GbE, 10GbE or 1GbE depending on the transceiver fitted, and the 100G uplinks support 40GbE or 100GbE optics, allowing mixed-speed environments to be consolidated on one platform. Redundant hot-swappable power supplies and fan modules support continuous operation in demanding data centre and campus aggregation roles.
