The HPE SN6720C is a high-performance 64 Gbps Fibre Channel Switch designed to deliver ultra-low-latency SAN connectivity from the server rack to the storage core. With 48 total FC ports (24 ports active) and an aggregate bandwidth of 3 Tbps full-duplex, it scales seamlessly from 24 to 48 active ports in 8-port increments via license upgrade — no hardware changes required. This 1U rack-mountable switch autosenses port speeds at 8/16/32/64 Gbps and supports FC-NVMe workloads without additional hardware investment, making it ideal for enterprise SAN deployments requiring future-ready performance.
