Description

The HPE ProLiant Compute DL384 Gen12 is a 2U air-cooled rack server and the first HPE ProLiant built around the NVIDIA GH200 Grace Hopper Superchip, with support for dual-superchip GH200 NVL2 configurations. It is designed for AI inferencing of large language models and for memory-heavy workloads such as simulation, EDA and weather forecasting.

Storage is provided by EDSFF NVMe Gen5 E3S drives, up to 8 in a dual-superchip NVL2 configuration, plus up to 2 internal M.2 drives. This Grace generation does not support hardware RAID controllers or hot-pluggable drives. Management is handled through HPE iLO 6.

Features

- First HPE ProLiant rack-mount server with the NVIDIA GH200 Grace Hopper Superchip
- GH200 NVL2 delivers 8 petaflops of AI performance in a single node
- Optimised for generative AI fine-tuning and inferencing and mixed workloads
- Also suited to large-scale simulation, EDA and weather forecasting

Warranty

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) offers a standard limited hardware warranty on its products, with coverage periods varying by product line. For instance, HPE ProLiant servers typically come with a 1 to 3-year limited warranty, while other products may have different durations.
