FAQs

Q: What does the UC100KMA do?
A: It actively converts a USB-A host port to two PS/2 ports, allowing a PS/2 keyboard and PS/2 mouse to be used on a modern USB-only computer.

Q: Does it support both a PS/2 keyboard and mouse at the same time?
A: Yes. The adapter provides two PS/2 connections so you can use a keyboard and mouse simultaneously.

Q: Are drivers required on Windows or macOS?
A: No. It is USB HID class compliant and works as a plug-and-play device on Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Q: Is the conversion bi-directional?
A: No. It is designed for connecting PS/2 peripherals to a USB host. It will not let you use a USB keyboard or mouse on a PS/2-only computer.

Q: Does it need external power?
A: No. It is bus-powered from the USB port.

Q: Can I buy this in Australia from IP Trading?
A: Yes. IP Trading supplies the ATEN UC100KMA across Australia with fast shipping and Australian support.
