Description

The AP-577EX is a Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) outdoor access point built for hazardous locations, certified for Class 1 Division 2 and ATEX Zone 2 environments. It pairs a 5 GHz 4x4:4 MU-MIMO radio with a 2.4 GHz 2x2:2 radio and built-in 90°H x 90°V internal directional antennas, delivering up to 4.8 Gbps on 5 GHz. This Rest of World (RW) regulatory domain model suits mines, refineries, ports, warehouses and other industrial sites that need high-density wireless coverage in tough conditions.

The IP66/IP67 enclosure operates from -40 to +65 °C, and the access point includes an HPE SmartRate 2.5G port plus a 100/1000BASE-T port, both PoE-PD capable. An integrated Bluetooth 5 and 802.15.4 (Zigbee) radio supports IoT and asset-tracking deployments. It can run controller-less in Instant mode or under a Mobility Controller, and is managed through Aruba Central or AirWave with Zero Touch Provisioning.
