Description

The Aruba AP-228 JW182A is an indoor hardened 802.11ac dual-radio access point built for demanding environments such as warehouses, stadiums and other sites without climate control. It features dual 3x3:3 MIMO radios delivering up to 1.3 Gbps on 5 GHz and 600 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, with six RP-SMA connectors for external high-gain antennas.

The AP-228 can be managed by an Aruba Mobility Controller or deployed in controller-less Instant mode. It provides two 10/100/1000Base-T RJ-45 ports with PoE+ support and a micro-USB console port, and runs ArubaOS with ClientMatch and AppRF technologies for improved roaming and application performance.
