Description

The APC AP9624 UPS Interface Expander 2 is a SmartSlot serial interface card that adds two extra UPS interface ports to a compatible APC UPS. It lets a single UPS trigger a graceful shutdown of up to three servers or other devices during an extended power outage, using PowerChute.

Designed for APC UPS models with a SmartSlot rated at 3kVA or below, it is suited to Smart-UPS, Symmetra, LX and RM ranges. The card draws power from the UPS so it keeps monitoring and reporting power events even without AC utility power, and firmware can be upgraded over USB mini-B.
