Description

The X120 1G SFP LC BX 10-U transceiver is a 1000BASE-BX10-U bidirectional (BiDi) SFP module that sends and receives over a single strand of single-mode fibre through one LC connector, reaching up to 10 km. It transmits at 1310 nm and receives at 1490 nm, which makes it a cost-effective way to extend a Gigabit link when fibre runs are limited.

This BX 10-U module must be paired with a BX 10-D transceiver (JD099B) at the far end of the link. It fits SFP (mini-GBIC) slots on supported HPE, H3C and ProCurve switches, so it suits campus backbone, building-to-building and access-layer uplink deployments.
