Description

The FG-TRAN-CFP2-LR4 is a 100G CFP2 transceiver module for Fortinet systems with CFP2 slots, delivering 100GBASE-LR4 over single-mode fibre (SMF) at distances up to 10km. It uses a duplex LC connector at 1310nm, making it a suitable choice for long-reach 100 Gigabit Ethernet links between buildings, racks and data centre sites.

The hot-pluggable module supports digital diagnostic monitoring, a serial ID PROM, auto negotiation and link status indication, and operates from 0°C to 70°C with power dissipation under 8W. It is compatible with Fortinet systems that provide CFP2 slots.
