Description

The Arista DCS-7020SRG-24C2-R is a 1RU data centre switch from the 7020R Series, with 24 SFP+ ports supporting 1G and 10G plus 2 x 100G QSFP100 uplinks. This IPSec model adds site-to-site VPN capability, so it can serve as a high-performance secure router at the edge as well as a server leaf or hyper-converged infrastructure switch. This variant has rear-to-front airflow and AC power.

The deep-buffer VOQ architecture absorbs traffic bursts and avoids head-of-line blocking, while Arista EOS provides programmability through eAPI, Python, Chef, Puppet, Go, OpenConfig and OpenStack Neutron support. Power efficiency is under 1W per gigabit.
