Description

The Arista 7280R DCS-7280SR-48C6-R is a 1RU data centre switch router with 48 wire-speed 1/10GbE SFP+ ports and six 100GbE QSFP100 uplink ports, running Arista EOS. This SKU ships with rear-to-front airflow and two hot-swap AC power supplies, making it suited to data centre racks where cold aisle access is at the rear of the cabinet.

An ultra-deep 4GB packet buffer with virtual output queueing supports lossless forwarding under heavy east-west traffic, while 2.16 Tbps of throughput and 720 Mpps forwarding keep latency from 3.8 us. Hot-swap redundant power supplies and fans, NEBS design and rich routing support (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, VXLAN, 128-way ECMP) make it a strong leaf, spine or edge platform.
