Description

The Arista DCS-7516R-BND is a 7500R Series modular data centre switch chassis bundle built around the 7516N 16-slot, 29RU chassis. It ships with 12x 3kW power supplies, 6x FM-R fabric modules and a 7516-Sup2 supervisor module, giving you a complete foundation for a high-density spine or core deployment with front-to-rear airflow.

The chassis uses a completely passive midplane with control plane connectivity to each fabric and line card module, and power supplies insert from the rear. The 7516R shares a common system architecture with the 7512R, 7508R and 7504R chassis options and offers an upgrade path with Arista 7500E Series components for investment protection. Line cards are ordered separately.
