Description

The UniFi SuperLink Relay is a compact I/O relay module designed to bridge third-party sensors and signalling devices with the UniFi Protect security ecosystem. Utilising Ubiquiti's proprietary SuperLink wireless technology, it delivers long-range connectivity up to 2 km line-of-sight at 915.6–927.6 MHz, making it ideal for gate control, garage doors, lighting systems, and alarm integrations across large commercial or industrial properties. With dual configurable signal inputs and dual dry contact relay outputs, it enables seamless automation and alerting workflows managed entirely through the UniFi Protect application and Alarm Manager.

Powered by a flexible 12–48V DC supply and housed in a compact polycarbonate enclosure, the USL-Relay supports adhesive, wall screw, and DIN rail mounting to suit a wide range of installation environments. All SuperLink communications are end-to-end encrypted with secure OTA update support, ensuring a robust and maintainable deployment. NDAA compliant and certified to CE, FCC, and IC standards. Note: requires a SuperLink Gateway (sold separately). Buy today from iptrading.com.au — fast shipping and expert service across Australia.

FAQs

Q: What is the UniFi SuperLink Relay used for?
A: The USL-Relay is an I/O relay module that connects third-party sensors, switches, and signalling devices to the UniFi Protect ecosystem. Its dual signal inputs can receive triggers from door sensors, motion detectors, or manual switches, while its dual relay outputs can control devices such as lights, garage doors, gate openers, or alarm sirens.

Q: How does it connect wirelessly, and what is the range?
A: It uses Ubiquiti's proprietary SuperLink wireless protocol, operating at 915.6–927.6 MHz (US) or 865.1–869.5 MHz (EU), with a maximum range of 2 km line-of-sight. All SuperLink communications are end-to-end encrypted for secure, reliable connectivity.

Q: Does the USL-Relay require any additional hardware?
A: Yes — a SuperLink Gateway is required to connect the USL-Relay to your UniFi network. The gateway is sold separately. Once connected, the relay is managed entirely through the UniFi Protect application.

Q: What power supply does the USL-Relay support?
A: The USL-Relay accepts 12V DC, 24V DC, or 48V DC power input, providing flexibility to integrate with existing infrastructure in a variety of commercial and industrial installations.

Q: What mounting options are available?
A: The USL-Relay supports three mounting methods: adhesive (for quick deployment on flat surfaces), wall screw mounting, and DIN rail mounting — making it suitable for rack enclosures, switchboards, and general wall installations.

Q: Can I purchase the USL-Relay in Australia from IP Trading?
A: Yes. IP Trading is an authorised Australian B2B IT hardware reseller stocking Ubiquiti UniFi products including the USL-Relay. Orders are fulfilled with fast shipping and expert pre/post-sales support across Australia. Visit iptrading.com.au to order or enquire.
