Description

The Honeywell 2012J is a photoelectric smoke alarm from the System Sensor 2012 Series, designed for low-voltage 4-wire installations. It operates on 12/24 VDC, ships without a battery, and combines an 85 dB integral sounder with a Form C relay, making it well suited to homes, apartment buildings and nursing homes.

Up to 12 units can be interconnected so that every alarm sounds together when one detects smoke. The built-in relay can drive auxiliary devices such as bells, horns and door closers, while the external push button allows quick testing and silencing. A removable smoke chamber and visual alarm and power LED indicators help with routine maintenance.
