Description

The Palo Alto Networks PA-7050 DC chassis is the base 9U, DC-powered enclosure for the PA-7050 modular next-generation firewall, built for large enterprise, data centre and carrier-class networks. This variant ships with four hot-swappable DC power supplies, two fan trays and an air filter, making it well suited to telco and data centre facilities running DC power.

The chassis hosts the Switch Management Card (SMC), Network Processing Cards (NPCs) and Log Processing Card (LPC), which are ordered separately. Throughput scales as NPCs are added, and the platform runs PAN-OS with App-ID, User-ID and Content-ID, with dedicated HA1 and HSCI ports for Active/Active and Active/Passive high availability.

- Runs PAN-OS with App-ID, User-ID and Content-ID
