Description

The FortiGate 400G is a 1 RU next-generation firewall for mid-size enterprise and campus edge deployments. Powered by SPU NP7 and CP10 hardware acceleration, it delivers up to 164 Gbps of firewall throughput, 55 Gbps of IPsec VPN throughput and 14 Gbps of NGFW throughput. This model combines 4x 25GE SFP28, 4x 10GE SFP+, 16x GE SFP and 8x 5GE RJ45 ports with dual AC power supplies and 960 GB of onboard storage.

Dedicated 2.5GE HA and 1GE management RJ45 ports keep high availability and out-of-band administration separate from production traffic. The appliance supports up to 50 virtual domains, 96 FortiSwitches and 512 FortiAPs, making it a strong fit for consolidating security and network access at the edge of a larger site.
