The Palo Alto Networks PA-5445 Advanced DNS Security subscription adds DNS-layer threat protection to a PA-5445 next-generation firewall. This licence covers a 5-year term, giving enterprise and data centre teams a single long-term renewal for their DNS security policy enforcement.

This subscription is specific to the PA-5445 platform in the PA-5400 Series. It is a licence only and does not include hardware, so it is suited to organisations that already operate, or are deploying, a PA-5445 and want to extend its threat prevention coverage to DNS traffic.

Warranty

Palo Alto Networks offers standard warranty coverage for both its hardware and software products to ensure reliability and peace of mind.
• Hardware Warranty: All Palo Alto Networks hardware is covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of shipment. This warranty follows a return-and-repair service model. If a hardware issue occurs within this period, a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) will be issued to facilitate the repair or replacement process.
• Software Warranty: Palo Alto Networks software carries a 90-day warranty, which includes access to all applicable updates, bug fixes, and feature upgrades during that time. Updates can be downloaded through the device interface or via the secure support portal, accessible upon account creation and device registration.
These warranties provide baseline protection and access to critical updates but do not include advanced support or next-business-day hardware replacement.
