Moxa Industrial Linux (MIL) is a Debian-based industrial Linux operating system built for Moxa industrial computers. It includes 10-year long-term support with security patches and bug fixes at no extra subscription cost, making it well suited to industrial deployments that need a stable, secure OS over a long product lifecycle. It is offered across the MIL1, MIL3 and MIL4 releases, in Standard or Secure editions, each matched to specific Moxa computer series.

Because it is built on standard Debian, existing Ubuntu and Raspberry Pi applications can be migrated with minimal effort and standard Debian packages can be used. A dual file system design with automatic failback protects against power loss during firmware upgrades, while the Secure edition adds TPM 2.0, hardware root of trust Secure Boot and compliance with IEC 62443-4-2 Security Level 2 requirements.
