Description

The QFX5230 3000W DC power supply with front-to-back airflow (AFO) is a hot-swappable field replaceable unit designed for the QFX5230-64CD 2U data centre switch. It accepts a -40 V to -72 V DC input, delivers 12 V at 250 A plus a 12 VSB standby output, and ships with a DC power cable, making it suited to telco and DC-powered data centre deployments.

The front-to-back (ports-to-FRUs, AIR OUT) airflow orientation matches the AIR OUT fan modules used on the QFX5230-64CD, so cooling stays consistent across the chassis. Two power supplies can be installed per switch for a redundant power configuration, and each unit can be inserted or removed without taking the switch offline.
