Description

The MSA 2070 16Gb Fibre Channel SFF SAN storage array is a TAA-compliant 2U block storage system built around 24 x 2.5-inch drive bays. It includes two controllers with eight 16Gb Fibre Channel host ports in total, 48GB of data cache and system memory per array, and two redundant 580W Flex Platinum power supplies. It suits shared storage deployments for virtualisation, databases and general business applications on an existing Fibre Channel SAN.

The array supports HDD and SSD drives, including self-encrypting drive options, and scales with up to nine 12Gb SAS expansion drive enclosures to a maximum raw capacity of 7.37 PB with all SFF drives. RAID levels 1, 5, 6, 10 and MSA-DP+ are supported, with MSA-DP+ providing integrated sparing, faster rebuilds and incremental disk group expansion. Management is available through a web-based utility, CLI and RESTful interfaces. TAA-compliant arrays must be ordered with at least six factory-integrated (CTO) MSA drives.
