Description

The HPE SN6620C 48-Port 32Gb Fibre Channel Switch is a 1U SAN switch that connects server racks to the storage core with consistent low-latency 32Gbps performance on every port. This variant ships with all 48 ports active and populated with 48 x 32Gb SW SFP+ transceivers, so it is ready to deploy without additional port licences or optics. It is FC-NVMe ready, giving SAN environments a path to NVMe over Fibre Channel without a hardware upgrade.

The switch offers up to 1536 Gbps of aggregate bandwidth, redundant power supplies and fans, and supports 32Gb, 16Gb and 8Gb optics with autosensing 4/8/16/32 Gbps ports. Management is available through CLI, SSH, SNMP, SMI-S, REST and NX-API, with fabric-wide control via Nexus Dashboard Fabric Controller (NDFC). It interoperates with other C-series MDS-based SN6600C and SN6640C switches in core-edge deployments.
