This 4P Riser 1/6 upgrade cable kit for the HPE ProLiant Compute DL580 Gen12 provides the cabling needed to enable PCIe 5.0 risers 1 and 6 in four-processor builds. It covers slots 1, 2, 11 and 12, each x8 bus width with an x16 connector, full-height and 3/4 length, so you can add expansion cards to a four-processor DL580 Gen12.

Risers 1 and 6 are not enabled by default in a four-processor configuration, where risers 3 and 4 are the defaults. This kit is intended for 4P DL580 Gen12 servers only and is the correct part when your build calls for slots 1, 2, 11 and 12 rather than other riser positions.
