Description

This 1000mm data retention power cable kit is designed for the HPE ProLiant Compute DL580 Gen12 and supplies retention power to the cache memory of an MR416 storage controller. It connects the server's main logic board (MLB) to the controller card, keeping cached data protected when the Megacell option is used.

One cable can connect up to three controllers, and it is compatible with MR416i and MR408i controllers using the Megacell or Smart Capacitor power connection. It is required only when the Megacell options kit is selected, and it is a longer cable than the shorter versions supplied with the Li-ion or capacitor kit.
