The HPE ProLiant DL580 Gen12 4P Riser 2/5 Upgrade Cable Kit provides the cabling required to enable PCIe 5.0 expansion slots on Riser 2 and Riser 5 in four-processor ProLiant DL580 Gen12 servers. It is designed as a field upgrade for 4P configurations that need additional full-height, 3/4 length PCIe slots.

Once installed, the kit enables Riser 2 slot 3 (x16 bus, x16 connector) and slot 4 (x8 bus, x16 connector), along with Riser 5 slot 9 (x16 bus, x16 connector) and slot 10 (x8 bus, x16 connector). A separate kit, P81004-B21, covers the Riser 1/6 cabling for slot 11.
