The HPE ProLiant DL380a Gen12 EDSFF 8NVMe Direct Attach PCIe Gen4 Cable Kit provides direct-attach NVMe cabling for up to 8 EDSFF drives in the ProLiant Compute DL380a Gen12 server. It is the 8NVMe/EDSFF Direct Attach, PCIe Gen4 cable kit intended for configurations using two 4EDSFF drive cages.

This is a factory-integration core option for the DL380a Gen12. Selecting it excludes the DL380a Gen12 OCPA and OCPB cable kits, the 4EDSFF Direct Cable for NVD (P74716-B21) and other OCP cards, so plan the drive and networking configuration before ordering.
